From: "Bonna Graham-Hall" To: ; "Second newsletter list" ; ; "Judy Fjell" ; "Carel Schneider" Subject: Weekly update June 6 Date: Wednesday, June 06, 2007 9:31 PM Hi Everyone -- ~~ There is good news: Wanda Daniels has accepted the job as our consulting minister for next year. Those of us going to GA will see her there and start the preliminary organizing. I think she will really help us to identify our niche in the Missoula religious community and learn how to better appreciate our UU blessings. ~~ Remember, our last formal service is this Sunday, June 10 at 10:00 am at 3035 S. Russell St. (Har Shalom's new building) across the street from the YMCA. Judy Fjell will lead a music-filled service centered around the theme of peace in honor of the anniversary of Jeannette Rankin's birthday. Those of us who were at her February service can vouch for her wonderful energy and beautiful music. She makes it easy to sing. ~~ We can start setting up at 9:00 am at Har Shalom's building. We may take a look at the larger room to see how it feels as Har Shalom has been using it even for their smaller gatherings. Volunteers are needed for setting up. If you can help set up, please come about 9:00. We will have our folding screen, candles, hymnals, and music stand for the service, and we'll take our own coffee/tea fixings like we did at MCT. Har Shalom doesn't have any classes or other meetings on this Sunday. ~~ Judy Fjell, along with Beth Youngblood and Janet Haarvig are presenting a concert 7:30 pm Friday evening at the Quaker Meeting House, 1861 S.12th W. -- $10-20 donation. Judy will lead a free singing workshop 11-4 Saturday at JRPC on Higgins. She will direct the Montana Women's Chorus on Friday evening for the celebration of the world premiere showing of "A Single Woman," at the Wilma at 7:00 pm -- $10 and $5 seniors and students. ~~ Is anyone getting webbed feet yet? As Ladysmith Black Mambazo sings: Rain, rain, beautiful rain! I hope to see you all this weekend. Take care, Bonna
