From: "Bonna Graham-Hall" To: ; "Second newsletter list" Subject: Week.y update Dec. 11 Date: Tuesday, December 11, 2007 6:20 PM Hi Everyone-- There are four items to announce this week and 3 replies that I would like from you to help get us organized: ~~As you know, this coming weekend is the time Wanda will be with us. There won't be a workshop because of it being so close to the holidays, so we would like to invite everyone to meet for dinner with her at HuHot at 5:00 Saturday evening. Please RSVP if you can attend. ~~Wanda will have her usual office hours Friday evening from 4pm till 8 PM if you would like to meet with her. Call or email her: wkayd@earthlink.net or her Helena phone number 406-475-3828 ~~The holiday potluck is Sunday after Wanda's service. I will provide a turkey ham this time. Again, RSVP to "reply all" if you can bring a dish to the potluck. ~~The last item is a bit in the future....For quite a few years, the Montana Area UUA has had a yearly September meeting at Camp Child to get everyone together from around the state to build community and keep up friendships. At the last meeting in the fall of 2006, we voted to change to a spring meeting time to avoid the mad rush that happens with all the Fellowships starting back up after summer breaks. In addition to a new time of year, the planning committee is discussing having this get-together at Boulder Hot Springs Hotel north of Helena to combine the meeting with a winter get-away with hot pools for soaking and yummy food provided by the hotel. The cost would be $40 for a shared double room, with shared showers and bathrooms on the same floor, in addition to showers and bathrooms in the dressing areas by the soaking pools. There are also a few individual rooms at $65 each. Dinner is $15 and breakfast is $6 for buffet-style, mostly organic meals, with vegetarian choices. The indoor soaks are segregated for women's and men's pools; the outdoor plunge is not. The main part of the hotel is a historic building with quaint features including a sitting/reading area with wood stove. If you can try to plan ahead to the end of March or early April, the planning committee would like to have an idea of how many people to estimate might attend. Please RSVP if you can think you might be interested. OK. There are a bunch of --actually 3--decisions to reply to. I appreciate your patience reading through it all and hope to see you this weekend! Take care, stay well, and keep the faith. Bonna
