Dress warmly if you are taking part in the march. ~~Scrabble Night is held Tuesday's at 6:45 pm at the Fellowship. ~~ Movie Night is back with the movie "Jesus Camp" to be shown at 6:30 PM this Saturday, January 26, at the Fellowship. This is the defining moment." Focus the Nation, a national event to mobilize action on global warming, has produced a webcast, The Two Percent Solution, which Caring for Creation Network will show live on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 6 PM - 7PM in the Fireside Room at University Congregational Church, 405 University Ave. It will be followed by discussion, 7PM - 8PM. We will send out information on Teach-In events taking place at U of Montana the next day, Thursday, Jan. 31, as soon as it's available. Dr. Eban Goodstein, Professor of Economics, Lewis & Clark College, Portland, OR, is leading this Teach-In event. He asks, "What can we everyday Americans do now, today, that will be strong enough to change the course of our future? Strong enough to overcome the powerlessness and denial gripping our country?" (Dr. Goodstein will be a guest lecturer for the UM Wilderness Series on Climate Change, April 8, Urey Underground Lecture Hall.)
